After our successful Summer and Winter campaigns, we were presented with the opportunity to acquire Excel Esports' Division One spot. Despite having just been promoted to Division Two and finding out the NLC was going to be demoted to a non-accredited ERL, this was an opportunity we couldn't turn down. Going into 2023, we will be competing in Division One of the NLC!
Having completed the acquisition of the spot, it was time to fill out our coaching and playing staff!
We're pleased to announce that Richard 'Froomie' Froom, has re-signed for another year and will be guiding the Division One project throughout 2023. Alongside Froomie, Nicklas 'Ndanskmand' Carstensen is joining us from RATE Gaming as Team Manager. On the coaching front Tom 'Tom Kick' Monsen joins us from Riddle as Head Coach, with Rasmus 'Munkholm' Munkholm assisting him. Harry 'Coach ATN' remains with us for another split having been a key part of our success at the end of 2022 as assistant to Dan Holt.
