Verdant are thrilled to announce the final addition to our Counter-Strike 2 roster. The talented Israeli Doron ‘Zax1e’ Prizent steps up to fill the place of Matas ‘Extinct’ Strumila who recently moved to the bench due to university commitments.
Doron joins us having spent time with NOM Esports in the latter part of 2023, he’s highly rated by his compatriots. When interviewed by HLTV.org, Spinx from Vitality noted Zax1e to be his prediction for a player to break into the top level of Counter-Strike. The IEM Rio and Blast Paris Major winner had this to say:
”I've been hearing about Zax1e inside our scene for a while and have seen him standing in for Endpoint and recently playing with NOM. I think he could be very good in the future if he keeps working hard and would keep an eye for this guy.

Head Coach, Ciaran ‘biscu’ King has been hard at work throughout 2024 so far managing the changes within the roster and identifying the best pieces to fill out the roster. On finding the last player, he had this to say:
”After a long period of time without a confirmed roster, we have finally completed our search for the missing piece of the puzzle. Doron 'Zax1e' Prizent has impressed the team and myself with how mature and wise he is for his age and for how well he has completed his role for us in this time, this is uniquely impressive as me and tom can be very hard to understand for even the native English speakers. He's got a determination about his persona and is clearly not afraid to keep his nose to the grindstone, which I love. It's my wish that he continues to conduct himself as a shining example for how to behave as a professional player, we're excited to see the havoc he will wreak on our opponents for us in the server.
