Sadly we have to announce further changes to our CS2 Roster as Matas ‘Extinct’ Strumila has mutually agreed to move to the bench.
Since joining Verdant in September 2023, Matas has represented Verdant in the ESL Premiership, CCT Advanced as well as more recently Season 0 of the UKIC. Despite results not always going our way, Matas has been a key pillar in Verdant’s ongoing investment into CS2 and clearly displays the core values of the brand. Whilst this may be the last time we see him on our starting lineup, we believe he can continue to be an ongoing vital part of the roster as the 6th man.
At this current time, our permanent starting five has not been confirmed. However, you will be able to catch Verdant playing in the ICE Bonus Series against the likes of BIG, Monte and Team Secret. This begins on the 26th of January and we’ll be fielding a lineup of:
